Meet Vera Ada Anyagafu, a trailblazing Nigerian leader, accomplished wife, devoted mother, and distinguished graduate of English (B.A Hons) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

With expertise in journalism, business management, and leadership, Vera is a dynamic force for positive change, empowering communities through education and mentorship. Vera leverages her expertise in content strategy, research, and event planning to drive impactful outcomes, making significant contributions to diverse organisations and initiatives that foster growth, innovation, and positive change. Through her positions as Director/CEO of Nelson's Place, Columnist, Consular Hub of the Vanguard Newspapers, Nigeria, and Welfare Officer of the United States International Visitors Leadership Program Alumni Association, Vera has developed strong leadership and team development skills. Her passion for women's empowerment and youth development is evident in her work with organisations like Women's Business Collective and International Federation of Female Ministers.

Vera's achievements include being an Omega Woman Award Honoree, US Department of State's Edward Murrow Program Awardee, British Council Certification Holder, among others. She has also participated in several high-profile delegations, including Nigeria-China Trade and Investment Missions and a peace movement in Saudi Arabia. As a volunteer, Vera has made a positive impact through guidance and mentorship programs for public schools in Nigeria and grassroots development initiatives. As Managing Editor of African Leadership Magazine, Vera has refined her expertise in content creation and strategy, driving impactful storytelling and thought leadership.
